Creating Agreement Templates

Upload PDFs, place signing fields, and publish reusable templates.

5 min read

Templates are reusable agreements you can send to customers repeatedly. Instead of uploading a fresh PDF every time, you create a template once and reuse it.

Creating a Template

  • Navigate to Templates in the sidebar and click Create Template.
  • Name your template — give it a descriptive name like "Annual Lawn Care Agreement" or "Pest Control Service Contract."
  • Upload your PDF(s) — drag and drop or browse to select your agreement document. You can include up to 3 PDFs per template, with a maximum file size of 30 MB each.

Placing Signing Fields

After uploading, you'll enter the field configuration step. This is where you place the fields your customer will fill out when signing:

  • Full Name — a text field for the signer's full name
  • Signature — a signature capture field
  • Property Address — auto-filled or manually entered address
  • Date — automatically set to the date of signing

Click on the PDF preview to place fields exactly where you want them. You can drag to reposition and resize each field.

Publishing

Templates start in Draft status. When you're happy with the field placement, publish the template to make it available for sending. You can always unpublish to make edits.

  • Published — template is live and can be used in manual sends and automations
  • Draft — template is being worked on and won't appear in send flows

Template Management

From the Templates list, you can see all your templates with their status, creation date, and last update. You can edit, duplicate, or delete templates from here.
